In these two hour lessons we introduce surfing fundamentals, etiquette, safety, wave dynamics, paddling skills, surfboard positioning, maneuvering, proper stand-up and riding techniques. We have both Open Groups and Private Groups available by reservation. Form your own private group with 4 or more. Classes offered daily during July and August.
Learn to surf in your own exclusive two hour semi-private lesson with your family members or friends. These sessions offer a greater level of instructor attention than our standard group lessons with 2 to 3 students per master instructor and are tailored to fit any skill level or age.
For those who want one-on-one surf instructions from our Master Instructors. These lessons are highly recommended for students who want to bring their surfing to the next level. Private instruction is available in 1 or 2-hour sessions. From Ages 4 and up.
Be the captain of your own ship and rent a kayak to explore on your own. Kayak Connection has single, double and even triple sit-on-top kayaks to get you out onto the water. Paddling skills are briefly covered and all necessary equipment is provided. Beginners welcome! Rentals are available every day for up to 4 hours.
Join us for our most popular outing in Santa Cruz. We meet 2 hours before sunset and go out for a paddle in the company of otters, seals, herons and pelicans to watch the sky turn pink as the sun sets. Paddling a tandem kayak is a great adventure for both beginners and experts. Bring your friends and have your own sunset adventure out in the Monterey Bay. Tours are scheduled Tuesday and Saturday Times vary but are approximately 2 hours before sunset
